FROM fishing fleet stand-out to a leader
in lowcountry charters
Built in 1960 by the Gillkin family, The Osprey’s all-wooden
hull is comprised of Honduran mahogany, oak and junper.
She was the pride of the Harkers Island, North Carolina
commercial fishing fleet in the 1960’s.
The Osprey came to Charleston back in 2007 from
Wilmington, NC and since then has been updated with
several modern conveniences making it the perfect vessel
for charters of all kinds. Though she receieved major
upgrades and was modernized in many aspects, the classic
look and design has been preserved at every level and
current owners Mark Welker and Donnie Buhrmaster made
sure that they stayed true to her timeless wooden charm.
The Osprey sports a harmonious blend of old and new and
is recognized in the Lowcountry as a leader in the chartering community and the #1 vessel for cruises
of every kind.

We have several different beverage packages available for all of our different charter types. Your private bartender will serve guests throughout the chartering experience ensuring everyone stays happy and hydrated.

THE OSPREY is a united states coast guard certified vessel with a 49 passenger rating
You and 48 of your closest friends, family and/or colleagues can all experience one of our many chartering experiences. Our USCG certified vessel has ample seating for everyone on board, most of which is located on the bow offering the best views in the house. All of our teammembers are also first aid and CPR certified to ensure we always prepared. Safety and comfort are very important to us!
